HISTORY
The Magical Golden Dawn was created by three adepts of the Holy Order of the Golden Dawn after they made contact with the Ascended Masters who empower the order. The Magickal Order is a descendant of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn founded in 1888 and is Chartered by the Ashley lineage of the Holy Order of the Golden Dawn (originally chartered by Arthur E. Waite).
MISSION
The Magical Golden Dawn exists for express purpose of helping people transform themselves into their true spiritual nature as a Child of the Divine while here in the flesh through magical means including ritual, initiation, attunement, contemplation, meditation, visualization and communion with the Divine.
The Magical Golden Dawn offers students of the occult an opportunity for self-initiation, astral initiation, and lodge initiation. The Magical Golden Dawn offers study materials and initiation as a 0 = 0 (Candidate = Neophyte grade of some other Golden Dawn traditions) to all aspiring students at no cost. Members who attain the rank of 3 = 8 are taught how to form a study group and are encouraged to do so under the supervision of a mentor. Affiliates coming to the Magical Order from another tradition who hold a rank of 3=8 or higher will also be given the opportunity to start a study group.
Members who attain the rank of 4 = 7 are taught how to start their own Golden Dawn Temple under the supervision and guidance of their mentor and the Chiefs of the Inner Order. Affiliates coming to the Magical Order from another tradition who hold the rank of 4=7 or higher will also be taught how to charter their own Golden Dawn Temple.
